About Our Project

​Because of our love for Hawaii island, (and the fact that Sheriʻs brother Dave is a builder here) In 2010 we decided that this is where we would build our dream home someday. 

 

In 2013 Dave called to tell us he had found the perfect lot for our future home. As soon as we saw lot 103 in Waikii Ranch, we knew this was the place.

Since 2013 we have visited this magnificent land many times, imagining what we could do. While sitting on the lot one day in 2017, the design for the house suddenly came together. With the shape of lot and the stunning auwai as our inspiration, we quickly drew the basic design of the house. 

 

Local architect Bryan Lindsey took our outline, filled in the gaps, and created the plans.  

 

In 2020 things started to come together as Stephen was named Head of Parker School in Waimea (just 20 minutes from Waikii) and we were able to finally move to the island.

We are grateful that Dave (along with our nephew Robbie) has taken on this job and is in the process of making our dream home a reality.
